Not just this, in India this industry serves another important purpose which might not be there everywhere and that is the employment purpose. It is considered as a fundamental area which fulfils the necessities of the country people. Being an independent industry, it helps everyone in the best possible manner.

Huge labor is involved along with managers of both junior and senior levels including CEO and supervisory staff in the entire system of the industry starting from the raw material department to the final output that goes to the customers. Basic requirements of the textile units and all the products are well accomplished by everyone. Processing department works independently and in different areas too which includes several manufacturing companies. It has been proved that out of the total output in the country’s sector, nearly fourteen percent is well supported by the textile industry. And we are likely to witness much more in the coming years since the development process is going one. Ethnic fashion in India is available in different textures and fabrics. One can see ample of colors in different varieties and forms. If we figure out the textile structure in India, it’s around fourteen percent of the all total output which is covered by this sector.

As far as employment sector is concerned, textile industry holds major of the country’s population providing better growth opportunities. We have expectations for getting a rise in jobs up to twelve million by the year 2010. Now, this is attractive more and more people towards the industry and so many people are enrolling in the design colleges and institutions. The country is making a move towards industrialization from agricultural division creating high employment opportunities. Cultivation of cotton improves these opportunities to much greater extent. Government understands the situation very correctly so much more improvement is being conducted in this sector. Technical advancements and other related areas are being improvement to provide much better opportunities.

There are certain segments for the textile industry, in which we are likely to witness much growth:
•    Silk and man-made textile
•    Woolen and cotton textile
•    Handloom sector in cotton industry( This includes handloom, mill made and power loom)
•    Readymade garments
•    Jute
•    Coir

Handloom cotton industry provides an average production of dress materials with cheap rates in threads costing Rs 200. It includes floral and some other patterns alongside. Weaving by women on cloth with thread using spinning is a popular sector.

Textile designing India is a rising sector which is directing the country towards growth proving solutions of all kinds to the countrymen for getting success for themselves. Improving trends would surely get better results in the coming years and none of our young adults would have to move out of the country for their growth. They’ll be able to get everything here itself.
