Metal Detection Policy

At Sava International Pvt. Ltd. it is imperative that no shipment is released unless a complete 100% metal detection check has been carried out. The record of same is documented.
As a precaution all clippers are kept in safe custody with the supervisor who issues them every morning on need basis and these are deposited with him for safe custody daily after the completion of task. A record of same is maintained with the supervisor.

In case a clipper breaks then the following action is taken:
1. The area is quarantined and the broken part is looked for using Metal Detector
2. If the part is still not found then the product being checked while the clipper broke, is declared REJECTED and taken out of the working area.

Metal detection is used at two stages in the factory:

(A) Where goods received from sub-contractor are counted.
Reason: - To eliminate any metal content in goods receipt from sub-contractor

(B) In Packing Dept. – when goods are ready to be packed in a carton.
Reason: - To eliminate any clippers / scissors / any other metal part from being packed with the pieces.
